Bonnie walks alone every night
With her hands in her pockets to keep out the bite
Of the cold and the harshness of the city itself
With its lights that turn on every night

Jackie walks along a lonely street
Thinking about the girl he'd like to meet
With her hands in her pockets while his love sits at home
Where he only feels alone
